Annoyances...

Hello reader.

Well it hasn't come yet, sadly enough. Because of the recent snow storm its been delayed quite a bit. Its Thursday today, was supposed to be here yesterday, but now its at least in the state and I believe its on a truck on the way to the nearby city to me. I'm a bit excited still for the tablet, but more or less I just want it to get here already.

I've just been keeping occupied with a potential trip I might be taking down to Florida for a few days with my father. We'll be purchasing and retrieving a Durango for my mother to use and after flying down we'll be driving back up. I don't have my license yet but I'll need it on the way back up to trade driving times with my Dad off and on. That will be in April so hopefully its AT LEAST here by then. I think it will arrive tomorrow though.

Been thinking about the technology part of the blog as well. What I want to post there. I think my main goals for it will be to note down my basics into linux and setting up new environments for myself to work inside of and what I end up doing with them, as well as learning about the hardware I have. For example, I recently learned that teh Intel Pentium M's are just modified Pentium 3's, with are Pentium 2's with a higher clock rate, with are Pentium Pro's with a bigger cache, and that the Core Duo's and Solo's in hardware like the intel macbooks are just then again extended Pentium M's. The cache is no bigger, the clocks are the same, the difference is the Duo's are the dual core version of an over extended and over clocked pentium pro. I find this rather hilarious personally. Technology in processors is literally just all the old stuff piled more and more on to each other, but at the very core a core duo is still more similar to an 8086 than a core 2 duo. Hilarious!

Anyways, most here won't be around to watch my techno babble, thats why the other page is there!!! The tablet should come tomorrow, hopefully. Like I said I think it is in transit? Bit I have absolutely no clue. At the moment I am trying to focus on my laptops getting set up and having my mobile environment set up for the potential trip if my mother doesn't end up going. She has nerve damage issues so the flight and air preassure changes might actually paralyze her. Kind of scary....

In any case, posting again when I have things ready, maybe.

Or I'll post again when I am bored of waiting for the stupid amazon box to arrive.
